See what summer activities are available in Blacon

The school holidays are here and there is plenty to keep children and families occupied in Blacon throughout the summer.

An exciting range of sporting activities will be on offer such as football, badminton, rounders, archery and netball.

There will also family fun days and opportunities for people to get together and share a packed lunch in the sunshine.

Rage Fitness will be hosting a series of exercise classes and free fishing sessions are available on the Shropshire Union Canal.

The hugely popular Glastonvenny music festival also takes place on Saturday 17 August from 1pm to 4pm at Blacon Adventure Playground.
