Halloween fun at Blacon Adventure Playground

25th October 2019

There will be lots of frightful fun and spooky surprises in store when Blacon Adventure Playground holds a free Halloween party for local children.

The event is taking place at the Kipling Road attraction on Thursday 31 October, featuring activities and entertainment for children of all ages.

Under-eights will be able to enjoy scary stories with the Cheshire West and Chester Libraries team, while children aged 8+ can follow a haunted trail through the woods, where a host of horrible happenings await.

Younger children will also be able to take part in their own spooky trail, while visitors of all ages can enjoy a campfire and refreshments will be on sale.

Entry is free, although donations to support the event are welcome. Activities will start at 4pm for under-eights and 5pm for ages 8+, finishing at 6.30pm.

Sandra Hewitt, Blacon Adventure Playground manager, said: “Halloween parties at the playground are always great occasions and this year’s event is shaping up to be the biggest and best yet.

“We’re looking forward to welcoming children of all ages for lots of fun with more than a few frights along the way!”

Blacon Adventure Playground is run by Avenue Services and used by about 5,000 people every month. As well as a variety of outdoor play equipment, the site also features an urban farm, environmental area and children’s garden.
